Choosing the right bus for your journey
On long overnight routes a sleeper berth is usually worth the extra fare — you arrive rested rather than stiff from a night upright. For daytime journeys under six hours, a seater or semi-sleeper is normally the better value.
Air-conditioned Volvo and multi-axle coaches cost more but run noticeably smoother on highway routes, which matters on the longer corridors such as Bengaluru to Hyderabad or Mumbai to Goa.
